Leicester Council of Faiths
We have been working since 1986 to promote trust, understanding and co-operation among faith communities in Leicester – and beyond. Our members include representatives of the city’s Bahá’ís, Buddhists, Christians, Hindus, Jains, Jews, Muslims and Sikhs. For almost three decades, Leicester Council of Faiths has played an effective and significant role in establishing, maintaining and promoting Leicester’s reputation as a place where people of different religions or beliefs co-exist peacefully. We work alongside other agencies, groups and organisations concerned with community cohesion and integration and mutual respect. Leicester Council of Faiths is recognized locally, nationally and internationally as one of the city’s key players in upholding equality and celebrating diversity.
